We wish all of our customers a happy and prosperous New Year and we have decided on the Scottish Menu for the 23rd & 24th January - please look on the menu page. We are providing a reduced menu Monday to Thursday priced reasonably at 2 courses for £8.95 or 3 courses for £11.50 This year The Good Pub Guide is no longer a guide to excellent pub experiences. They have started to charge for entry into their publication. We feel that through this change of policy the guide has lost its independance and integrity and have therefore decided not to pay the fee. We are now however, in the AA Guide Attention to the quality of food has kept us in The Good Pub Guide for the past 6 years and the quality of our beers has kept us in the Good Beer Guide for the past 4 years. The rolling beer festival of 3 ever changing real ales from micro breweries can be seen on the Beers page. Most of our raw materials are sourced locally and prepared in an open kitchen, allowing customers to check the ingredients with the chefs for allergens and preferences. The menu is presented on a huge chalk board which is changed on a daily basis as our chefs find the best value and quality from our suppliers. Check with staff for the provenance of the ingredients. We have a Garden Room which can be used for special events seating up to 40 where you can benefit from the Oddfellows Party Table or we can prepare a custom menu to your taste and budget. Serving food Monday to Saturday 12.00-14:15 and 18:00-21:30, Sunday 12:00-20:00. |
