Just a quick blog to say thank you for everyone's help and support on our fundraiser on bank holiday Monday, raising £734.92 for Christian Aid if you didn't already know our lovely Aga did a bike ride from London to Paris in 4 days, biking over 300 miles (NOT BAD) at the end of July.....a very big well done to her.

Can't believe how time flys, 6 months since my last blog (scary). Anyway just to keep you updated Aga is doing a bike ride from London to Paris for the charity "Christain Aid". She goes next week on the 21st July for 3 days (we will miss you). To help raise funds we are having a Charity fun day on 30th August from 3pm onwards (I think) but will confirm times nearer the day....we will have stalls, food and the usual banter.

Just a quick message to say we now have Gary's gorgeous pizzas available on Mondays with a glass of Italian red or white wine. Yummy....£7.95 or why not have takeaway for just £6.95.
And also our fundraising for the bears is now completed, raising over £6000, so a big thanks to everyone for supporting this worth while cause (Animals Asia)

Hello were back!!!!
Vietnam was amazing, (Aga didn't want to leave)... The moon bears were the most gorgeous creatures I've ever seen. We've raised £5565.00 so far only need another £435.00 to go and we've made our target....so please keep buying our lovely truffles.
Pictures of our lovely trip will be displayed soon, so come and have a look while eating some wonderful food...

Not long for our Vietnam trip, 2 weeks tomorrow. ahhhhh..... So far we've raised £4900, only £1100 to go. So please help us raise the rest by buying our lovely truffles.

It's been a while so I thought I'd better start blogging.......so here goes!!!!
Aga and I are having a bank holiday do on the 31st August starting at 3pm, to help raise awareness and monies for Animals Asia. Please come and join the fun......We will have a pig roast, good beer and lots of little things going on, such as a jewellery, cake and games stalls.
Just to let you know the raffle that has been going on will be drawn on this day as well, so good luck and buy more to help this worth while cause. Also if you have any bric a brac to donate it will be gratefully recieved, then please drop it in before the 31st...many thanks

Just to keep you updated, we now have a raffle going on at the boat with six lovely prizes and its just £1. So far the total raised is £1190..... not too bad..... Also Aga's partner has composed a Cd dedicated to the cause which we are selling for just £5, and it features some guest vocals on it by Aga herself!.
Also a date to keep is the Tuesday 7th July, Louise's jewellery sale from 7-30pm til late. With 10% of purchases going to Animals Asia charity.
Another date to keep in mind also the 30th June to introduce good food and good plonk from the Worth Brothers, another light gourment evening with canapes and strawberries just £27.50.

What can I say I haven't wrote anything for about two months now time flys when your having fun.
Can anyone remember Aeysha!!!! Well she's back to help our lovely Carol on the weekends. She left in October 2007, which feels like 5 minutes ago and I think Aeysha feels the same, (it's like she never left).
Fundraising for Aga and I is going very well so far, we have £955 in the pot, only another £5045 to go!!!!

Mother's day is around the corner, hope you've got something nice.....I'll be there working my little socks off. So see you then.
Also just to let you know Aga and I are trekking in Vietnam in Oct, to raise money for the moon bear sanctuaries. We need a mininum of £6,000 between us, so we need all the help possible, any fund raising ideas or donations would be gratefully received.
In the meantime Jane (Ann's Sister) is also doing a husky trek in Norway through to Sweden, next month. So please support Jane with buying our lovely chocolate truffles at 50p each, the charity is Blue Cross, to help pets left by their loved ones.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you, to everyone who supported me for my trip to Peru, raising over £5000 for the children of UNICEF, can't believe it's 8 months ago when I actually went, (time flys).
I also would like to take the opportunity to mention that I'm having a jewellery sale on 2nd Feb at 7-30pm, selling silver and costume jewellery. The venue will be in the garden room at the Boat. Hope you and your family can make it, why not book a meal and join me laters.......
